Tickets were easy to use. Don't understand why we had to meet someone for a non-guided tour, felt like an unnecessary step.
Bought through Headout after tickets were no longer availabe through the museum directly. Paid a couple of euros extra per ticket, but got value for that--a local expert handed us our tickets (no line) and told us where things were. The gallery has an amazing collection, but could use better and more comprehensive descriptions of the collection. Bought the audio guide, but found a number of pieces described weren't on display.
At the ticket office in Galeria Barberini, the employee informed me that my ticket was also valid for Galeria Corsinni. I went there and was not allowed in even though it was empty. The ticket agent even called Galeria Barberini and received a reply that the ticket was not valid. I am therefore dissatisfied with this treatment of customers.
The walk through the gallery was a unique experience. It is not so crowded and you can delight in the unique and unforgettable works of Italian culture.

It was easy to meet the guide in front of the museum and very helpful to get me into the museum avoiding the long lines. The exhibit was outstanding.
The Borgese Gallery and Gardens were spectacular!! We loved everything about our experiences there. I would go again and recomend others going. The only negative was out Headout experience. I purchased our tickets weeks ahead online. Several days later I recieved an email our"guide" was not available for the 8am booking so they changed our booking to 2pm. No worries. We arrive and our tickets are scanned. We are told they do not exist, go to the services desk. We go to the service desk, they scan the tickets and say they do not exist. They look over their paper work and do not see our names. I was hearing, while we waited in lines and at the cafe, that the day was sold out. The service counter offered us tickets for 5pm. We accepted and rebought the tickets. Shortly thereafter my phone was out of battery so I did not even try to contact headout. When we returned home from vacation a few days later we recived and email crediting us for the tickets. Thank you Headout!
Very streamlined process, agent location and punctuality excellent. The payment process was secure. The visit was simply stunning, one of the best museums in the world, exceptional pieces.

Easy to access meeting point and helpful host gave us all the information we needed. Friendy staff at bag drop off. Able to choose how long/ short a time in each room. The more modern installations were a surprise. Information boards told us just enough without being long-winded. Restaurant a bit pricey, but much quieter than cafeteria, though portions a bit on large side for smaller appetites. Pleasant staff there too

Visiting the Borghese is wonderful. The experience with Headout was not quite wonderful. My admission time was changed twice. That was inconvenient, especially because I had a reservation at the Vatican Museums later. It worked out ok but I didn't understand why a 'confirmed reservation' was changed.
Beautiful exhibitions: Villa Giulia and Galleria Borghese. Skip tickets money spent for nothing. It was not necessary. Trip with Italo perfect.

The art was fantastic. I had trouble getting in because I wrote down your ticket number instead of theirs but the staff was quite helpful
The exhibits on the 1st floor are gorgeous, but the 2nd was closed for restorations. The price of the tickets should consider this fact
A voucher is not a ticket. It was not quite clear how to get the real ticket. Otherwise, a very nice museum,

The museum and its works are beautiful, and I had no problem getting my tickets to enter. But, if I find it in bad taste that the second floor of the gallery is closed for remodeling and you have to pay an additional 5 euros to see the rest, totaling 40 euros. You know about this situation, and the fact of not warning and not including the other museum is what I thought could have made it better, finally I paid almost triple the cost of the normal ticket for half of the museum.

Guide spoke little English, and was not familiar with the exhibition items. I feel like I was the guide, explaining quite a bit to her as I learnt a lot of Roman and Greek art in high school.
There was no queue, it was very easy and quick to exchange/get the tickets at the museum ticket office and we were able to visit the exhibition within our timeslot. But you definitely have to be on time!

We had an incredible experience! We did the guided tour and Irene was so passionate and really made the art come alive for us. Would highly recommend this museum and the guided tour.
You had a meeting point and someone to meet us. I also love the Dafne and Apollo statue. However I wanted a tee of Dafne and Apollo and you didn't have it.
At first weve got an annulation. But fortunately Headout got us a New offer for the visit. We were extremely happy with the good service of Headout.
It is relatively small, but wonderful, the best museum in the city without a doubt, that's why I consider that after visiting Rome 5 times I finally arrived at the holy Santorum of the eternal city, where only the best is to be found.

It turned out that the message I received -Here’s everything you need to enjoy your upcoming experience with us - was not correct . Headout has sent a vouchers as an entrance tickets , but actualy the entrance ticket must be taken against a voucher . Although we arrived early enough in front of the gallery, we were about to miss the entry time. Luckly we managed to get our tickets at the last minute. Otherwise, the gallery experience was unique!
The organization was great! We spent wonderful hours in Rome and could rely on the bus at all times. The visit to Villa Borghese was particularly uplifting. Here, too, everything was perfectly organized!

The woman who lead the Museum tour was fantastic her knowledge of the artwork was excellent and helped me see lots of details I would have otherwise missed.
We totally enjoyed our experience! The guide was very professional and he introduced us in the story he was telling us about. He was able to recreate the atmosphere, putting each one of us in the middle of the epoch he was describing. The entire visit was emotion and information. Well done, Sal!
The tour started on time and the group wasn't big. We found our guide easily at the meeting point. The tour was in English as we'd booked it. Our guide was Italian and he was very friendly, kind and knowledgeable about the topic and art in general. Thank you, Dimitri, for the amazing experience and knowledge you unselfishly shared with us yesterday. We really appreciate it and we truly enjoyed our time in Gallery Borghese. We kindly recommend this tour to everyone who wants to experience beauty and to see unbelievable and unique art collection.
The guide, Alicia was great. She is friendly and knowledgeable. She spaced out the tour accordingly and highlighted all the important parts of the Borghese Galleria. We had a new found understanding and admiration of the sculptors by Bernini and other artworks in the Gallery from her excellent guided tour. We have taken quite a few tours with other Guide apps in other locations in Rome and we will rate this one as the best. Thank you Alicia for an excellent and unforgettable tour!
We couldn't have asked for a more knowledgeable and enthralling guide. Frederica gave us detailed explanations of the most pertinent sculptures and paintings. We mostly appreciated the historical and political context a of each piece. Would highly recommend this tour and Frederic's in particular.
The tour leader was excellent. Her knowledge of the museum and the art work was very impressive. Her presentation style made it easy for the small group to appreciate the history of Bernini and other artists. The museum was not crowded which increased the pleasure even further. Cafe was fabulous for lunch.
The ticketing experience was clear, quick, and very easy to complete--kudos to the app design team! Checking in near the Gallerie was also simple and straightforward, with everyone helpful and friendly. The tour itself was phenomenal! Alessandra is clearly a master of her topic -- the art, the historical context, and the human -centered stories that bring the world of the Borghese and the Collection itself so vividly to life. For instance, hearing the stories behind the Caravaggio and Bernini pieces in the Gallerie made for a far richer experience than I otherwise would have enjoyed. I learned; I laughed; and at moments was simply awestruck. The time seemed to fly by -- over too soon! I could have listened to Allessandra all day. Now I am inspired to dig in deeper and learn more, not only about the Collection but the history of Rome in general. Gracie mille! *** The golf cart tour was also a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend it as a follow-on to the gallery. I can't remember the name of my guide, unfortunately, but he was a knowledgeable and amiable young man, and it was a real treat to see the beauty of the grounds as I was was learning about its history. My guide took the time to stop and let us get out at an overlook, with an amazing view of the city, and a great photo op.
The guide Victoria was so good. She talked about the sculptors and painters, but what I appreciated more was she talked about the people in the paintings and the sculptors. I enjoyed this guided tours very much.
It was the best guided tour I had in Italy. Our guide, Virginia, told the story behind the gallery and its masterpieces passionately and in a very funny way! She made a good contact with the people, making the experience very friendly and memorable!
Guide was very knowledgeable. Great museum, get close up view of so many great exhibits. Having guide give context and background to the works was invaluable.
Ticketing experience was easy and our guide, Martina, was amazing. The two hours flew by, the Berninis were wonderful, and I have a ne appreciation for Caravaggio.
Your guide was excellent and talented. Everything worked well from the beginning until the very last end. Thank you for the well organized and fascinating tour!
Really enjoyed the guided tour of the Gallery Borghese. For the tour of the parc in golf cart, we had a good guide but the tour was too short (30 minutes) and there is so much more to see. Moreover, the cart should be equipped with an audio system as it's difficult to hear the remarks of the guide
Federico was a great guide. We definitely left this experience much more knowledgeable. We liked his way of sharing the information and his vibe.
Martine / Martina is an excellent guide. She provided historical background on each piece and artist, as well as apathetic commentary. The tour was well paced, inspiring and informative.
Ticketing was easy. Follow ups were timely and clear. Federico was an engaging guide who had a solid historic art knowledge. Villa Borghese is a must see!
Our tour guide cancelled for health reasons and our only option that day was for a self-guided tour. I was told we would get 15,00 euros reimbursed on my credit card for each of our 4 tickets. I would have liked to have headsets for no charge since we had originally booked a guided tour. Also, 15,00 euros refund doesn't seem appropriate for each 65,07 euro ticket we purchased. Seems like the guided tour would have been worth more than 15,00 euros. The museum is amazing and we enjoyed our time there.
The guide was very competent and educational. She presented the works from a technical point of view, but also in their emotional dimension. A very rewarding visit in a beautiful setting.

I expected a two hour your and got 1hr 20mins in the art gallery with some time outside. It was all rather rushed which was a shame considering this was a prestiguos museum. The guide was very knowledgable and personable.
The tour was very informative about the Borghese Gallery collection. It was well timed with plenty of time to really understand the artwork. Crown Tours did an exceptional job with the tour. Felt that the guide was well informed.
Our guide was fantastic. His love for the museum made the commentary very special. It's great when facts are enhanced by personal opinion and ideas - it makes the commentary come alive
Everything was too easy. Last time we were in Rome we missed Borghese because we hadn't booked early. So this time we found our Crown girl in front of the gallery and then sweet Leticia gave as a marvelous experience. Thank you everybody, especially Leticia
Lost our "ticket" just prior to arrival and were able to find us easily and take stress out of having just had my phone stolen on the way there. Process for going in and our guide there was really good (we've been before and this time was much better!). So, really turned out well compared to how we got there! This gallery really is a "must see" when in Rome since it is unique compared to other experiences, and was that much better since the guide was excellent.
It is easy to book. Definitely suggest for visitors who loves art and history. Our guide was Salvadore. His speech was clear and his knowledge about art history was amazing. Just can say one word. It does worth it.🤩 Note: if you think it is difficult to find the meet point. Don't worry just follow the instructions and be there 10-15mins before. There are a lot of people who can help to find your group.
the woman who gave the tour was great. Knowledge, humor and a good own view of the works ! we were very happy. the woman who gave the tour was wonderful. lots of knowledge, humor and a wonderful personal view on the works ! made us very happy :)

The narration was minimal. Would have liked more information and history on the audio part on the bus. Bus was not available for half the route the second half day due to an event. We had planned on using it in the second afternoon only - would have been nice to have been refunded a portion since unusable.
The service works very well, but I found the audio guide boring, it lost my concentration and interest. I would improve that, the way of telling what you are seeing, in a more relaxed and less documentary way.

The number of stops are not enough to cover well all the point and they also change the route, now you need to but 2 tickets
Todo muy bien organizado, puntualidad, todas las explicaciones necesarias, fácil comunicación por whats-up, muy amables… Totalmente recomendado
Enjoyable experience that allows you to see some significant places in the City of Rome. I really appreciated the audio guide. Only flaw the cleanliness.....in the afternoon the bus was very dirty, garbage and dirt prevented sitting in some seats.

The bus has many schedules which allows you to get on and off without any problem. Clean bus and staff. Friendly staff. It would be necessary to have translation in Spanish.

The route covered most of Rome, which was excellent. On one bus the commentary was fabulous with conversations between Italian people in English but on another the English sounded like it was AI generated and it was terrible and didn't make sense.
Visiting the Borghese is wonderful. The experience with Headout was not quite wonderful. My admission time was changed twice. That was inconvenient, especially because I had a reservation at the Vatican Museums later. It worked out ok but I didn't understand why a 'confirmed reservation' was changed.
I always use a tourist bus when I visit a city, but in Rome I found some of the stops were too far apart.

It is an excellent service to take a first look at the city and then start getting to know it point by point, since you can get on and off as many times as you want within your 24 or 48hs pass.

The bs trip was really great. One of the buses had a pretty stupid commentary with three people giving irrelevant information, but the other buses had sensible and informative commentary. It was a bit of a trek to the Spanish steps and Trevu Fountain from the stop which was hard going in the heat. Booking through headout was quick and easy and we were able to redeem the voucher for a ticket with no problem at all.
Beautiful exhibitions: Villa Giulia and Galleria Borghese. Skip tickets money spent for nothing. It was not necessary. Trip with Italo perfect.

Categories and subcategories above don't fit my needs! Require an 'OTHER' box to tick. Please disregard the boxes ticked and see below. Not so good - Commentary wasn't always in sync with where we were so was hard to follow at times. Did another hop on/off in Palermo (with another company) and it was spot on. Got on the bus and we weren't told where the earphones were. Sat down and then had to ask another passenger. Would have been good to have them placed when we walked on (maybe near the driver). Good - the staff organising everyone at the stops. Was well organised.
Ordered tickets online, it was super easy. Bus ride was interesting and very easy to go explore the sites we wanted and get a look at all the others
Good service only downside was audio a bit being bus location so difficult to identify landmarks flashed in commentary.
Very easy to get tickets and then find the right location and bus. Commentary was humerous throughout and also very informative. Liked the option of closed downstairs or open air downstairs as it was very hot. We did the route and then again once we decided where to visit as our time was limited. All in all great experience and good value for money.
I like the ease of being able to hop on and off the bus. I think it would be better to advise how far away the attraction is from the bus's hop on or off spot. For example the coliseum hop on hop off spot is down the street and around the corner, that information would have been more helpful to include with the information about the location already available.
Very easy to use even with my adult daughter in her wheelchair. The only down side was that no one told us that bus stop number 7 on the red route was not in use which we decided to wait at having pushed our daughter all the way up hill from the Spanish steps!

The Bioparca zoo was the best zoo Ive ever taken my children to. Good transport link or you can use a taxi. You can have lunch at the zoo or bring your own. Such a great variety of anyimals to see and we absolutely loved the penguins but the bears were the best! Would recommend visiting for sure. I booked online before travelling to Rome. Posto molto carino e animali tenuti molto meglio rispetto a molti zoo, rettilaio molto bello con un ottimo percorso da fare ..tuttavia snack bar molto poco forniti e bagni (tutti) in condizioni a dir poco pietose.
Avoiding the queue of more than two hours when I wasn't sure if I had a ticket was the best thing of all! I also found it easy to pay, book and meet the people who gave me the ticket. Everything was great!

The guide was on time and we were early which allowed us to get an earlier time slot. The only shame was that only 1 floor is open and we didn't get any notification of that and still paid full price. The gallery itself is beautiful! Highly recommended. And personally one of the most beautiful things we have seen in Rome/

We ware glad that it was more quiet than the awfull crowd in the Sixtine Chapelle. There were good qaulifided guids and good information.
The top floor of the venue was not open due to refurbishment at the Gallery. More than half the items to see were on this floor. No mention was at any point made of this, not did the ticket price represent the fact that we were only able to see half of the collection. Surely there should have been a reduction in price to compensate.
In my case, the service consisted of having bought the ticket to avoid the lines and take advantage of the time, and the goal was achieved, the girl who helped me to give me the ticket was very valuable, fortunately she spoke the necessary Spanish and that was invaluable. The gallery, a marvel.

Great unforgettable experience! One of the most beautiful villas! Splendid fantastic collection! Wonderful park with incredible panoramic views of Rome!
This was a last minute purchase, because the entrance to this stunning gallery is very limited. But I kept trying everyday during our two weeks in Rome, and suddenly one day it showed a couple tickets available for the next day. Thank you Head out, the whole experience with the person that met us was smooth. Visiting Borghese Gallery was one of the highlights of our trip. The most beautiful art gallery in Rome.

The current exhibition at the Borghese Gallery marks a historic first, showcasing the work of female artist Louise Bourgeois for the first time in the gallery’s history. The exhibition focuses on pieces that intertwine her memory with the collective and public memory of the museum itself. Bourgeois was deeply influenced by the psychoanalytical school of thought, and her initial visits to the Borghese Gallery keenly influenced her approach to imagining how old art forms interact with the new.
