A nice and easy way to buy train tickets to avoid the queue's at the airport. Our train was on time and everything ran smoothly.
Tickets are easy to buy online, for a reasonable price, and can be changed to another time if you should run late, without any problem. The platform from which the train would depart was easy to find and there was staff available at the station to help with any questions. The service runs regularly and at convenient times, so ideal for when you come to Rome or have to catch your flight back. It is a fast and comfortable journey. From Roma Termini you can easily catch a bus, metro or taxi for your onward journey when visiting Rome. I can highly recommend using the Leonardo Express!
There's no need for a detailed commentary. The Leonardo Express is the best way to get from Stazione Termini to Fiumicino, and I use it every time I need to get to the airport from Termini. This time I bought the ticket via Headout to avoid the ticket machines. I'll use Headout again if I have to go to Fiumicino next year. It's much more convenient than an automat, at least for me. Best regards Klaus Müller
The easiest and fastest way to travel to Rome from the airport, it is very close and leaves you in the center, there are many buses to then reach your destination, the truth is that I was surprised by the transportation issue, very easy, cheap and accessible.
It was easy to buy online and once we got to the station we were able to antecipate to an earlier train with help from one of your very polite attendants.
The train ride was fine. The track was confusing because apparently there were other tracks further down from the same track the Leonardo Exp traveled on making it confusing to know where to go
Never got train before from airport, and will never not get the train again. Bought ticket at station when arrived in Rome and bought online for return. Reliable and incredible value
I had to pay an extra 5€ because I took a train earlier than the one in the ticket. I find this absurd!
Due to a previously cancelled train, our service was extremely overcrowded. My 11-year-old son was nearly pushed between the train and the platform by an older gentleman. There were no staff members present on the platform to support passengers or manage the crowd, which made the situation quite dangerous. Fortunately, we were able to find seats on board, and the remainder of our journey was pleasant, at least for us.
The track number was only displayed at the last moment, two minutes before the train was due to arrive, so this was a source of stress for us, not knowing if we were in the right place and with few agents available on site or unrecognizable among the crowd. Magnificent train, very comfortable, fast and although we left 10 minutes late, we arrived on time.
Better than standing in line at the train station ticket kiosk. Only thing that would make it better is to provide instant tickets, we had to wait 20 mins to confirm the tickets.
We were staying not far from the Termini Roma, so it was a quick, cheaper, As I had not been to Rome for many, many years it was definitely the easiest way to navigate the distance from the airport to the city. safer way to get to and from the airport. Lots of room for luggage.
It was great, but you should have sent the ticket right away after the payment coz as a tourist we have limited internet/data on our phone and also the free internet at the terminal is not that easy to connect and not that reliable. I hope you could improve that part where after we purchase the ticket you will send it right away coz that's how it should be with others..
Suddenly the "from" and "to" location had been switched, so the tickets I ordered were no longer applicable to me and I had to buy new tickets.
The train platform is right at the airport. The train is comfortable and fast. It took us 32 minutes to reach the central Termini station. The return journey was just as easy. I bought the tickets online and no need to print: just scan the QR codes on your phone. Tickets are easy to buy online. I find it very clear if you take the time to read the steps. Crowds and queues in Italy are always a bit chaotic, but that's the culture of the country.
Very easy to get tickets, good trains running frequently There is a charge 5€ if you travel before your ticket is valid- ayable on the train even if you change the time of your train on the ap But would use again
We tried to change the time on the ticket the day before, the app told us we could do that. We did not receive any reply until after we had taken the trip, and were told then via email that the partner issuing tickets did not allow changes. This is really strange, as even on the train itself the loudspeaker was telling us how good the app was and that it allowed us to change ticket times so easily. We did not find this the case, the app simply said our change was pending and never updated. So luckily we turned up for the original time. The email we got after the trip was also strange - here it is: "Vyom Goyal (Headout) May 3, 2025, 12:51 GMT+5:30 Hi Andrew, Thank you for reaching out. Modification policies for each experience are set by the local partner, and in this case, the partner does not allow modifications OR does not allow modifications less than before the activity. In our experience, they do not allow any exceptions to this policy. Therefore, we are unable to modify these tickets for you against the booking ID 24684301. To make it up to you, I am adding credits worth (mention the amount as per DSS) to your Headout wallet which will be valid for a year. These credits will be available instantly on Headout for future bookings. If there is anything else you need, just hit reply to this email and I’ll see to it. Best, Name" This is not very helpful as we have now left the country. It's not a very nice email as it is obviously a form letter and has not filled in any of the blanks. There is also no credit on the account, not that it matters at this point. The train itself was very comfortable and on time. Thanks, Andrew.
I booked online and was quickly able to get the train schedule. My train was on time. However for travelers unfamiliar with train reservations in Italy (I'm Canadian) this is not obvious. It wasn't clear whether I could view my ticket before arriving at the station or only at the time of catching my train (that's what a friend had told me)? What does "composter" mean? Where do I punch my ticket? I was stressed out wondering whether my ticket would be valid or not before I took my flight to Canada.
Very easy to use - direct delivery to the airport- signage in airport easy to direct us to our check in and subsequently our departure.
Easy to purchase tickets online; affordable and convenient way to transfer from Leonardo Da Vinci airport to Termini Station in Rome.
I booked the wrong way (FCO => Termini instead off Termini => FCO). Tickets are none refundable nor is it possible to change direction although the price is the same... So had to book a 2nd set of ticker. ☹️ When u on the webpage press "Termini to FCO" then u also expect that that is the routing and not the other way.... Webpage need an update and be more user friendly..
I had bought tickets online to get from Rome to the airport .We had problems getting through the gates at the station with our tickets . Eventually we were allowed through a free entrance. Once on the train our tickets were checked and it turned out that I had bought the tickets the "other way around", I had tickets from the airport to Rome. Conductor said that I actually had to pay a fine of €50 per person plus two new tickets (total €130) but gave us a fine of €5 per person (€10) which was very kind. The outward journey had gone well by the way . Excellent service so !!!!
Efficiency. On time. Booked a time but needed to change as we made earlier train time.. not particularly phone savy .. so I made a bit of a boo. Boo
There was a young woman who was incredibly helpful despite the crush of people. She stayed calm and collected during an onslaught of questions due to the unexplained and unexpected cancelation of a scheduled train. This only added to the number of people waiting thus asking her questions she couldn't answer. She remained calm. The young woman is a rock star of customer service in the face of adversity.
The train arrived on time and there was enough space for suitcases. There was a quiet atmosphere on the train. The journey takes about half an hour.

We toured all the major areas and some of the gardens including the Sistine Chapel in about 3.5 hours. The flow through the Vatican was well thought out, some areas were more congested than others, but nothing unexpected or uncomfortable for such a popular destination.
The Museums are absolutely beautiful and are so vast. The check in process was fine and thankfully we got a skip the line ticket. Lots of different things to see and you could probably spend hours there.
We had skip the line tickets so it was only 20 min wait. We saw the museum, had lunch in the garden and visited the Sistine Chapel.
Wow! Incredible! Visiting the Vatican is an incredible experience! The ticket avoided the queue at the ticket office, we went straight to the entrance. As we bought the ticket with the Host, we went to the meeting point, the tour agency indicated, we were late and they were super kind to guide us to accompany the host. We picked up the tickets, read the QRCode immediately and got in without queuing. In other words, everything was smooth, safe and perfect! We loved it! I thank and recommend Headout!
A nice and easy way to buy train tickets to avoid the queue's at the airport. Our train was on time and everything ran smoothly.
Crowds were expected, didn't expect to extend our walk/tour for more than 2hrs. So if you have a booking with with tour time, make sure you will allocate enough to move from one place to another eg 2hrs. Overall, we had a good experience & learned so much.
Entering the Vatican without having to stand the heat or the queue was a great experience and being guided so skillfully was refreshing.
We bought the tickets the same day and they had availability, it was super easy to arrive and check in, the super friendly guides explain everything you need to know and accompany you to the entrance door ahhh and you avoid the long lines.... In the end we were able to see the whole museum and also the Sistine Chapel everything was amazing thanks and greetings from Mexico.
The queue-cutting tickets for the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel: a real added value for the visit and an invaluable time-saver for enjoying the place to the full, and the guide who welcomed us and accompanied us to the entrance was friendly and very clear - a much appreciated plus. I'd definitely recommend it!
This was our first visit so we had big expectations. Our guide Silvia fulfilled them and even more. She explained every detail and answered all our questions which made this journey unforgerable. Silvia is high experienced and very pleasant guide. Our 7 Years old son enjoyed during all time if visit.
Buying through the agency was very important. It avoided a huge queue to get in! Not to mention the professionalism and cordiality we received. Visiting the Vatican Museum and the Sistine Chapel was like living a dream! It's worth it and I recommend it!
It was easy to find the meeting point, the instruction throughout the process to enter the Vatican was easy, accessible, polite and friendly professionals, the museum tour was incredible, the cistine chapel was incredibly charming.
This experience is perfect for learning about Roman civilization. I suggest that people do it at least once in their lives. Thank you for the organization . ✌️🇲🇦
It was great to get in fairly quickly and explore at our own speed. We found the group tour guides annoying as they kept stopping g in the middle of the passage ways blocking everyone else!!
Visiting the Vatican felt like stepping into another era. Every detail—from the materials and colors to the atmosphere—was breathtaking. The artistry and history in every corner made a deep impression on me. It was more than a visit; it was an experience that stirred my soul. I loved every single moment of it. Truly unforgettable.
Visiting Vatikan Museums was one of best my experiences. I expected more crowds . But Maybe it was about time . I visited there at 4 pm and when I was out, it was 8 pm. I had researched paintings, fresks, statues in museum. So I got happy when I saw them. Best museum in the World!
The Vatican museum is worth looking at. There are so many articles of artifacts and art work, you can't help but be in awe! What I loved most of all was that the museum itself is work of art that houses the art.
Skipping the long lines was great. Everything neatly arranged. The Sistine Chapel was unfortunately closed because of the conclave but things like that cannot be planned.
The agency was punctual, the instructions to the meeting point were accurate, the visit was on time. We were accompanied all the way through the first security line, up to the second one at the entrance of the museums. The lady was kind and attentive.
Well, it was already pretty crowded, but considering it was holy week, I don't think I was surprised. It is a lot of walking, a lot of steps, so you need to be able to do that.
I didn't think it would work out because I was meeting a host, but everything went as expected. The visit was incredible, very beautiful inside. I'll attach some photos so you can get a sense of how beautiful it is!
The exciting sightseeing. So many beautiful works of art. If you are interested in the history of Rome, this trip tells you something new or explain you something what you knew before.
It was a little crowded but we had the evening tickets so it wasn't to bad, and we skipped the big lineups, the are work in there is a 11/10 a must see! We had no trouble with our tickets would recommend any day
Vatican was more beautiful than I expected. I enjoyed it so much! Must visit. Was especially magical feeling during Easter weekend.
Antonio was great, with clear and precise explanations of the history of the monuments. Lots of humor, which made the visit very enjoyable!

Thank you so much to the staff members who waited for me despite my late arrival. Unfortunately my bus was late and I was so worried I would miss the time slot, but they waited for me and also tried to call me. Thank you for helping me to see amazing art while in Rome <3

Everything went very smoothly. Well signposted and with the online tickets you could go straight through.
Timely, comfortable, value per money
I bought my ticket online, which was a good decision. There was a long line at the ticket booth.
It was easy to find, on time, clean train, fast and fun!!

The atmosphere generated by the two tours taken on the same day. The first in the morning, the second at sunset. The whole simply spectacular

Ticketing process was easy on line. Being a senior with mobility issues this Hop On Hop Off Bus Tour allowed me to see many sites that I probably wouldn't have been able to see. The on board audio guide was very informative.

The easiest and fastest way to travel to Rome from the airport, it is very close and leaves you in the center, there are many buses to then reach your destination, the truth is that I was surprised by the transportation issue, very easy, cheap and accessible.
The train ride was fine. The track was confusing because apparently there were other tracks further down from the same track the Leonardo Exp traveled on making it confusing to know where to go
The track number was only displayed at the last moment, two minutes before the train was due to arrive, so this was a source of stress for us, not knowing if we were in the right place and with few agents available on site or unrecognizable among the crowd.
Suddenly the "from" and "to" location had been switched, so the tickets I ordered were no longer applicable to me and I had to buy new tickets.
Boo
The train arrived on time and there was enough space for suitcases. There was a quiet atmosphere on the train. The journey takes about half an hour.
Easy from airport to downtown Rome Had estimated the time generously because of getting off and getting suitcases, in the end we were faster. You can easily adjust the time and take an earlier train. On the way back to the airport we will use this again!
Timely, comfortable, value per money
Efficient. Much cheaper than what booking.com charged us on arrival.
I liked that. I didn't have to lineup at the ticket office however it did take about 10 minutes to confirm an issue.
Nice smooth ride and on time. Grazie.
It was quick and easy! The staff was very hrlpful!
