I'm Italian, I don't know why I have to give an opinion in English.... Palazzo Barberini was a very confortabile walking in the art of baroc Age. A great collection quite hidden from the usual tourism router!
It was much easier getting tickets into Galleria Barberini than the Bhorgese Gallery since 50 artworks have been moved from Bhorgese to Barberini. Very easy getting tickets online and you just show up at the Barberini venue. The paintings were amazing and so gorgeous which were set in an amazing palazzo. Bonus - Very nice bistro cafe upstairs at the gallery in the Barbetini palazzo gardens, so pretty and serene. Cafe was lovely and spacious at the lovely garden.
The Basilica is fantastic and is a must see for visitors to Rome. The basilica is a work of art containing many other works of art, sculptures, paintings, mosaics. It makes you wonder at the time and resources invested in its construction and decoration. The guided tour was very good, I appreciated the comments and explanations given by the guide she spoke clearly and was open to questions.
Interesting exhibition, unfortunately impaired by some construction work. Admission with the skip the line ticket was no problem!

In addition to the enriching exhibition, the garden is a unique place to take a break and enjoy the impressive Palazzo Barberini!

some construction going on but it is all right. A bit far to walk to get to the pallazo if you come by bus but it wasn't that bad.. the art, the magnificent paintings, so many things too see and it was really enjoyable excellent experience!
I had reserved tickets on my cell phone, I had to queue as if I had to make them again, because no one told us that with the reserved tickets we could skip the queue and show up at the entrance directly without going through the ticket office. 20 minutes of unnecessary queuing. Otherwise, beautiful.

Actually it was alright, no issues. Basically I marked alright because there were a lot of negative feedback an they scared me. An ticket was not to place I was looking for, but it was working for place I ordered, so fine enought.
Wanted to see the Holbein, Caravaggio, and El Greco paintings. Saw them and was enthralled. Wasn't made very clear at entrance where you should go with the pre-booked ticket, but still got in quite quickly. Staff really friendly and helpful.
We were early so not crowded. Only negative: The person at the ticket counter didn't tell the people waiting in line there for some time, that that line was only for buying tickets.

It delivers what it promises. I would like to highlight the positive performance of the staff on the streets: they do not shy away from helping, informing and clarifying.

The narration was minimal. Would have liked more information and history on the audio part on the bus. Bus was not available for half the route the second half day due to an event. We had planned on using it in the second afternoon only - would have been nice to have been refunded a portion since unusable.
The service works very well, but I found the audio guide boring, it lost my concentration and interest. I would improve that, the way of telling what you are seeing, in a more relaxed and less documentary way.

The number of stops are not enough to cover well all the point and they also change the route, now you need to but 2 tickets
Enjoyable experience that allows you to see some significant places in the City of Rome. I really appreciated the audio guide. Only flaw the cleanliness.....in the afternoon the bus was very dirty, garbage and dirt prevented sitting in some seats.

The route covered most of Rome, which was excellent. On one bus the commentary was fabulous with conversations between Italian people in English but on another the English sounded like it was AI generated and it was terrible and didn't make sense.
I always use a tourist bus when I visit a city, but in Rome I found some of the stops were too far apart.

It is an excellent service to take a first look at the city and then start getting to know it point by point, since you can get on and off as many times as you want within your 24 or 48hs pass.

The bs trip was really great. One of the buses had a pretty stupid commentary with three people giving irrelevant information, but the other buses had sensible and informative commentary. It was a bit of a trek to the Spanish steps and Trevu Fountain from the stop which was hard going in the heat. Booking through headout was quick and easy and we were able to redeem the voucher for a ticket with no problem at all.
Categories and subcategories above don't fit my needs! Require an 'OTHER' box to tick. Please disregard the boxes ticked and see below. Not so good - Commentary wasn't always in sync with where we were so was hard to follow at times. Did another hop on/off in Palermo (with another company) and it was spot on. Got on the bus and we weren't told where the earphones were. Sat down and then had to ask another passenger. Would have been good to have them placed when we walked on (maybe near the driver). Good - the staff organising everyone at the stops. Was well organised.
Ordered tickets online, it was super easy. Bus ride was interesting and very easy to go explore the sites we wanted and get a look at all the others
Good service only downside was audio a bit being bus location so difficult to identify landmarks flashed in commentary.
Very easy to get tickets and then find the right location and bus. Commentary was humerous throughout and also very informative. Liked the option of closed downstairs or open air downstairs as it was very hot. We did the route and then again once we decided where to visit as our time was limited. All in all great experience and good value for money.
I like the ease of being able to hop on and off the bus. I think it would be better to advise how far away the attraction is from the bus's hop on or off spot. For example the coliseum hop on hop off spot is down the street and around the corner, that information would have been more helpful to include with the information about the location already available.
Very easy to use even with my adult daughter in her wheelchair. The only down side was that no one told us that bus stop number 7 on the red route was not in use which we decided to wait at having pushed our daughter all the way up hill from the Spanish steps!
Easy to book and very practical to be able to go up and down whenever you want and especially the translation for the monuments.

We had booked the Hop On Hop Off tour in Rome so that we could plan our exploration tour as flexibly as possible. With the app, we could always see exactly when a bus was on its way to the next stop. That worked very well. We had the option of getting on or off at any of the stops. Perfect for us. We also used the headphones on the bus and were able to listen to interesting details in German. Sometimes, especially when getting on at the main station, the buses are very full, so you just take the next one or walk one stop forwards or backwards. You can either take it all in a relaxed manner or get off at every stop and explore the city. Simply great. We would book it again in the same way.
View original review in German
Really good app support, good locations included, much more relaxing than trying to walk it in the crowds. Only downside was how busy the bus was at times, we had to stand for long periods.
The Big Bus was good, as realise the geography of Rome makes it difficult yo get around. The commentary on the Omnia bus is poor in comparison.
The queue is a bit long and the route misses many interesting places. The bus was tidy and the upper deck felt comfortable. Crew was OK
Courteous staff and great route to places to visit! !! To add at the beginning of each stop, inform us of: - year of construction of first building - type of building and materials used - type of street covering -Population and demographics Bravo and thank you

The museum and its works are beautiful, and I had no problem getting my tickets to enter. But, if I find it in bad taste that the second floor of the gallery is closed for remodeling and you have to pay an additional 5 euros to see the rest, totaling 40 euros. You know about this situation, and the fact of not warning and not including the other museum is what I thought could have made it better, finally I paid almost triple the cost of the normal ticket for half of the museum.

Guide spoke little English, and was not familiar with the exhibition items. I feel like I was the guide, explaining quite a bit to her as I learnt a lot of Roman and Greek art in high school.
We had an incredible experience! We did the guided tour and Irene was so passionate and really made the art come alive for us. Would highly recommend this museum and the guided tour.
You had a meeting point and someone to meet us. I also love the Dafne and Apollo statue. However I wanted a tee of Dafne and Apollo and you didn't have it.

There was no line we entered quickly. The only setback was several of the rooms were closed due to an event at the museum. However there was still a lot to see for instance a Warhol, Picasso and Monet. Sculptures and paintings were great
Fantastic gallery but when we arrived we realised that it cost more to book on this app than it would have done had we just arrived and bought the ticket there. It turns out this app has bought the rights to the web name so we thought we were booking on the official website but weren't. So, don't use this app to book as it's cheaper to just turn up. And there were no queues. We were told there's barely ever any queues, so save a few euros and just turn up & buy your ticket on the door. A fabulous gallery, air conditioned too. Gorgeous cafe also. Win win! Just wish we'd not overpayed.

I loved how easy it was to use. Also, we were only able to get tickets to the coliseum because of the Roma Pass. Al the tours and tickets were sold out however the coliseum official website reserves a certain amount for Roma Pass members and release them the day of. We used the Roma Pass for the bus, metro, and sites.
We had big problem to change physical ticket via finging tourist i formatoon site at Roma Termini. It moved to Colosseum 5 years ago without exact notification to worldwide tourlists. Take this issues to headquarter in Rome. Bye.
We loved how easy it was to collect the passes. What's more, it's extremely practical as it includes one or two free visits (depending on whether it's a 48-hour or 72-hour pass) and free public transport (apart from the airport-train station link). No queuing, no stress ....

Nothing to say about the visits we made. On the other hand, yesterday, Monday, May 6, there was a strike on the A metro and no replacement buses, which meant that we were heavily penalised for the journeys we had planned...

For the first time I purchased the Omnia Card and Roma pass package, once you understand where you can book the various museum admissions, the road is all downhill. Very kind at the ORP point where the cards are activated, they gave us great advice.

The card is very convenient to have, both for transportation and for some museums the only flaw is that for kids ( despite having purchased an omnia carde roma pass) free transportation is not included. So for my son I had to pay for all transportation...if the price is halved for age it should cmq have the same services as the one for adults

I did not know the company, I found it by chance because I could not get the Omnia Rome cards until I found Headout, they sent me the cards a week before the trip and I was able to organize all the important visits in Rome and the Vatican. I recommend going to the pick up point in St. Peter's Square, the girl who took care of us was very professional and made everything very clear. Thank you very much for the experience, best regards.

Everything worked fine apart from Vatican skip the line. There was only one queue for all ticket types on the day we went.
That's definetely not a good deal for my son, and I regret that it was impossible to get access to San Petro without waiting hours (if not the entire day ? This weekend was crazy). Hopefully a warm thank you to your assistance team and especially the kind lady at Latran complex who managed to arrange our entrance at Vatican Museum one hour earlier on saturday - that saved the program (allowed to visit Colosseum at the booked time). Thanks to her !
Very practical "all-in-one" cards. On the other hand, it was difficult to find the office where you could pick up your card; what's more, the first location suggested on the website is no longer valid for this purpose. What's more, the Rome marathon was not signposted and was blocking streets, so we wasted 1/2 a day looking for you... After reception and everything else ok...

Palazzo Barberini is the prototypical Baroque palace. Interestingly, the talented architects Carlo Maderno, Gian Lorenzo Bernini, and Francesco Borromini transformed the pre-existing structure instead of demolishing it and starting from scratch. This new plan was designed in the unconventional shape of an “H” to create a structure with open wings framing a wide, lush garden with secret courtyards.
