It was awesome, the tickets worked perfectly. The colosseum is spectacular and the forum was a very immersive experience totally worth it
It was okay. It was good, everything worked out with the ticket, the audio guide was not so relaxed to choose. Would book with you again.

Everything , just to see what they Romans built 100s of years ago while most of the world was living in caves was truly amazing...
Very good experience with the purchase of the tickets and I had no problem getting in. Both the Colosseum and the Roman Forum is one of the most impressive things I have ever seen.

My fiends (14 people)and I had travelled a long way to Colliseum. We had missed the time limit for our session due to traffic condition. We were not allowed to enter the Collisseum without listening to our explanation at all. I don't the best way to treat overseas visitors. What a waste of time and money. Disappointe! We could only visit the Roman Forum part.
They wouldn't let me in with our tickets, we had to call customer service who couldn't resolve the issue. Was meant to be getting a full refund but I haven't seen anything showing that the refund is coming unfortunately. If nothing shows next week will have to contact again to get it.
The Colosseum is a unique monument. It was a feat of engineering, but more importantly it helps one experience how brutally different humanity was before Christianity gave us the values we cherish today.
The visit to the colosseum wasn't worth it, as no audio guide was given on presentation of the ticket, as you actually had to download an application onto your phone.... we didn't have any headphones with us, and the only languages available were English and Italian... fortunately, the visit to the forum was much more enjoyable (ticket valid for 24 hours), but no explanations either, as there was no audio guide... too bad.

The grandeur of such ancient architecture. I imagined what that place would be like with the people of that time and I also thought about what it would be like if one of those people could travel in time, to our days. What would he/she think...
Everything went really well. It was magnificent. If you want to enter the coliseum at 2pm, be careful because the last entrance to the forum is at 3.30pm. We were lucky to get in, but it was very tight and it wasn't specified when you bought your tickets.

It was Marothon day in Rome and we took a whole round to entered into Colosseum. A note can be add with ticket is that Kids ticket (below 18 years) can be collect by showing valid proof from window# 10 inside colosseum after security check.
The coloseum is impressive and informative, but far too crowded, even end of Oct. the adress provided by Headout was not the correct entrance.
I can't say that about the abundance of superlatives. We had no problems with the tickets, despite the large crowds

I recommend buying tickets in advance for first thing in the morning to take advantage of the day, both the Colosseum and the Palatine are worth all the trouble in the world, the entrance was fast without queues. Thank you.

Thw Colosseum is awesome. But I could not visit the Forum because it closes very early. The connection of the App was always going down even though my Internet was ok.
The ticket for the Koloseum costs 18 euros - for children it is free or costs 2 euros. Headout only offers a standard price for adults. Even though there was a queue at the entrance, we were inside in less than 5 minutes at the booked time. The audio guide is disappointing. Firstly, the mobile data network at the Colosseum is so slow that it takes ages for the content or the next article to load. Secondly, the audio guide is not geared towards the tour - it does not describe the stations on the tour but provides general information about the Colosseum. The Palatine Hill and Roman Forum are a little better - but it is difficult to see exactly where you are. An interactive map or at least pictures to accompany the audio tracks would be desirable.

Colloseum is of course fantastic so visiting Rome without Colloseum, forum and palatine Hill is a waste of your visit . What is good to mention is that you can also get free tickets for your children when entering the colloseum. Also without a long queue.

The Colosseum was great to visit and with headout it made the experience easy we had the tickets so it was accessible.

It is very well organized with fixed times so that you don't have to wait long to get into the impressive Colosseum. It was truly an experience for our daughter.

As the audio guide did not work well (because it was very quiet and also worsened to be surrounded by a lot of ambient noise) we could only see the Colosseum, Forum and Palatine as spectators so all the details were lost. Well, at least we didn't wait in line to get in. That's something.

Amazing! So much to see. Best to get the full experience tickets to allow you into all (most) of the additional rooms/areas dotted around palatine hill and the forum. Great day out!
Fast, convenient access On the other hand, it's extremely unacceptable that the audio guides are only in English or Italian.
View original review in French
What we did NOT love: 1. For two tickets the audio guide required TWO smartphones. This is a problem when only one is available (elderly folks). A full accu is not enough for listening to all stories! 2. For two tickets headout charged us 65,80 €. Those tickets are sold for 36,00 € in Rom. That's close to a rip-off.
Entry on time, easy and efficient However, an effective audioguide in French was lacking, as it was very difficult to follow the explanations in English over the surrounding noise.

All of it! It was amazing to see it and be able to walk inside and take it all in! Just amazing! Palatine Hill was just as amazing. I can highly recommend this ticket.

Our visit to the Colosseum was a truly unforgettable experience, and we owe much of it to our guide Rosario. Her knowledge and passion for history brought every detail about the Flavian Amphitheater and Rome's rich history to life in a unique way. She transported us back in time with her clear and engaging explanations, allowing us to further appreciate the magnificence of this iconic site. We would recommend this tour without hesitation to anyone wishing to enjoy a complete and enriching experience. It was much more than a visit, it was a lesson in history and culture, and we can't wait to return and continue discovering more of this amazing city!

It was the first time we took a guided tour, and thanks to our guide, Miriam, we were delighted and want to repeat. We will definitely go back to Rome with my children and we will book the tour with them again and hopefully we will be back with Miriam.

Tour guides were perfect Colosseum tour guide Andrada and Vatikan tour guide Debra was great. I give 5 /5 to both of them. There wasn't headphone service for Vatikan tour. İt was not comfortable. Colosseum tour was with headphone service and it was easy to understand our tour guide.
We started off at the Ancient forum, then we went to the Palatine Hills and ended up at the Colosseum! Our guide George told us every little detail. Details that we wouldn't find easily. And because I like history I learned lots of new things! I would recommend it anytime! Take the guided tour and enjoy a walk through Ancient Rome and its history!
We had an amazing guide, Maria, who gave us a lot of information and details about what we were seeing and experiencing. She was clear and engaging. Crowds were not bad at the time we went and our group was relatively small. Meeting instructions were clear and the audio worked well.
We had a guide who was on time at the appointed time and point. The guide knew how to speak passionately and was able to engage the tour participants well.

The tour is pleasant and you get to know everything or almost everything in sight. I recommend doing this tour with a guide to get the most out of the experience and understand the context of many things, it is definitely money well spent.

I really liked all the information they gave us, it made the time we spent very fast because everything was very interesting. As an opportunity for improvement they could give us better quality headphones, because the sound was very poor, plus I only had for one ear.

The guide Miriam was spectacular, clear, concise and most importantly very very enjoyable and fun, we would repeat without hesitation, knowing that it is her.

I really enjoyed visiting the site but the tour felt rushed. We weren't given much time to soak in all the aspects of what the guide was talking about and take photos.
Our guide Maria explained us wonderfully all the history of the Colosseum, Roman Forum and Palatine. It was an unforgettable experience and highly recommended.

The overall Experience was awesome. Sergio was very kind and answered all of our questions. The weather was ok, it started to rain while on tour but Sergio saved us by going in the coloseum to keep us away from the rain. 5/5
Carlota, an extraordinary guide. She handled the congestion of tourists and visitors in an extraordinary way, and accompanied the tour with a very well planned story, supported by complementary material. Very good.

Our tour guide, Ivana, was excellent! The pace of the tour was perfect. We had a small group, and Ivana help us navigate around the crowds. I would recommend this highly to anyone visiting these sites!
I had a great time. Our guide, Rosella, gave us the information in a pleasant way, so we didn't feel overwhelmed! Her friendly nature and smile are to be noted. She even helped us take some pictures! The tour was carried out according to the information on the website and although there were many tourists, Rosella always made sure that we had a quiet place and could listen to the information she gave us in a pleasant way. Thank you for joining us.

Ilaria, our Roman guide, was very pleasant and welcoming. She knew her job inside out and was full of anecdotes that made the visit very entertaining. I highly recommend this guided tour of the Colosseum, Palatine and Roman Forum.

Checkin was straight forward with lots of groups going out at the same time. Tour guide Eugine, was knowledgeable and friendly.
Sandra was the best tour guide we had in Rome, very personable and interesting. The headsets made it easy to hear and were more comfortable than some of the others we had. Enjoyed
the vatican tour was very cool! very pleasant tourguide to listeen to and caring. The Colloseum tour was also cool although the Italian accent and maner of talking through me of and made it so i could not quite understand what was being told.
Even though it was a busy day due to it being a holiday in Rome, we had a great experience and were able to enjoy ourselves in these marvelous sites. Chiara was an awesome tour guide and she enhanced the experience altogether.
An unforgettable experience! We learned a lot! The guide was a luxury! You can see her great knowledge of the subject. Greetings from Argentina, Marcela and Miguel.

We missed the first tour to the Colosseum because the time was changed to an earlier time and that wasn't convenient for us. The Vatican tour time also changed but we were able to make it. The tour guide was absolutely fantastic, she was incredibly knowledgeable about very engaging, I could have talked to her for hours.
Our guide was really very good! His extensive knowledge and entertaining manner made the 3 hours pass in no time. He managed to make ancient Rome, its rise and fall "come alive" and make connections and analogies to the present day. It was really exciting to listen to him!

We really liked the historical monuments and the information provided. As a point to improve, it was a little difficult for us to understand Lidia. The tickets were not given to us, so once the tour was over there were several exhibits that we could not visit inside the forum.

Despite the bad reviews that I read, I have to say that everything went great for us with our guide Chiara who explained everything in a way that made the whole tour very enjoyable and interesting and the tour itself is very worthwhile.

The environment was wonderful and the experience was very good, the only thing I did not like was the monotony of the explanation of the guide, who tried to transfer his beliefs and his anger towards the church in each explanation. This is the 3rd time I have visited the colosseum and I am sure there will be more, but I hope to have another guide in Spanish.

We had to return the next day to enter the coliseum because there was a problem with the tickets, the fault was mine because I bought tickets for adults 18-24 years old, and I am older, in my opinion is one thing to improve in the menu of the web because it can be confusing, and I think I was not the only one. But in the end everything was solved, thanks to the local partner and thanks to the fact that we had the whole Sunday to be able to come back, that's why my positive rating.

It's an amazing monument, thinking all its history beside the architectural side that is unbelievable for the time it was built..our guide,Lumi(hope that's the right spelling) was excellent with lot of knowledge and very kind.Willing to explain anything you wanted!
It was a very good tour and our tour guide was very knowledgeable. She was occasionally a litle hard to hear/understand, although some of that was due to the size of the group. The beginning of the tour was a little disorganized, but I think that may have been due to understaffing. it took a while for the group to get organized. A general announcement about how we were being organized would have been helpful. The tour itself was exellent, and our guide was very well informed. It was amazing to see the Colisseum up close. It was worth it to skip the lines, and to move through the process with someone who was familiar with the process. I would recommend the tour to others.
The tour guide seemed to know a lot. Only down was she practically made us run up Palatine hill to get to the toilets before they shut. My husband was 80 on the day and I am 65.
Our guide Barbara was AMAZING! She speaks Portuguese very well and is super enthusiastic about Roman history. She really manages to convey the whole history of the place in a very incredible way.

The tour stated late because there was no guide the staff were not in a uniform as mentioned in the email so very difficult to find. The guide disappeared to take the lift down while myself and others required the life down we found our own way to the lift and could not find the guide after returning to the bottom of the stairs the guide did not advise of a meeting place or the area we would be viewing next, we called the office and they were not helpful to call the guide on his mobile phone for us. I would like a 59% refund as only had a guide during the visit to the coliseum Not very happy
The tour was great and the guide knowledgeble. It woudl have been awesome if we had started the tour at the first site and saved a lot of extra walking up and down hill. Half the group was older and could have used the fewer steps.
We had an amazing tour of the Colosseum with Alexandra, our guide. As a true Roman, she shared her passion and knowledge with incredible enthusiasm and attention to detail. Her explanations were captivating, full of interesting facts, and delivered with kindness and charm. Alexandra truly brought the history of the Colosseum to life for us. Highly recommended!
The guide was super experienced and very kind, she explained everything and asked for doubts. Very punctual and enjoyable tour. I would hire them again. Very good experience

We took a guided tour around the colloseum, Palatine Hill and Roman forum and we were very pleased with it. Our tour guide, Lumi, was very knowledgeable, very sweet, knew when to throw in a bit of sarcasm, when and how to make a connection with the old and new world and when to just say the story. There were kids in the group and she was mindful about them too. At the end she recommended us a few places to eat and visit. We ended up with a great experience and we're glad we took it.
The timetable of the guide was not in accordance with the official schedule because it was too long and boring, we left before it was over because at the time the visit was supposed to end we had only seen the colosseum and we still had to see the palatine and the forum. It seemed to me that it lacked rhythm

Excellent experience in Rome. Everything was planned and the guides were very well organized. Our French-speaking guide was very thorough in his explanations and we had a good visit with a group of +/-10 people. Headphones were provided for the group.

The guide made all the difference, showing us pictures from the past and how things used to be. It wouldn’t have been the same experience without a guide.
We had a very good experience. The guide, an Italian woman who speaks Spanish, was excellent. Once in rome, the company communicated with us via whatsapp to give us all the details of the meeting before the tour.

The guide was very knowledgeable, funny, and helpful. The sites and history were amazing. Thoroughly enjoyed and would recommend as a must do in Rome.
All was well organized and out guide Barbara was very good prepared and experienced. There were some technical problems with audio quality in my guide receiver. Also so called access to the Arena of Colloseum was disappointing since in fact it can be seen exactly the same as from the other places with the lower price ticket.
The guide understood very well the history of all the monuments visited, which made the walk quite enjoyable. The colosseum is really impressive.
